Marie Claude    Delcourt

   is a mixed-media artist, graphic designer and Art School manager. Born in Paris and graduated in Fine Arts in Paris-Sorbonne famous University, she recently immigrated from Provence (south France) to Canada. She is now living in Kingston where she opened her Art School 3 years ago. Her paintings and shadow boxes have been exhibited in many French Galleries and International Art Fairs.Marie Claude Delcourt Manager. The Marie Claude Delcourt Art School provides an individual program of guidance through personalized services and offers many opportunities for adults, assisting students with varying levels of ability and diverse backgrounds. Students are encouraged to use a large variety of media according to their own sensibility. We want the students to be able to find their own answers with the help of a personal relationship with their teacher.

Style is free (contemporary or more classical), there is so many ways to learn about colours, contrasts, tone, composition and expression. We teach specific original techniques including textures, mixed media and patinas. All the courses involve discussion, critique of work, recommended readings and artists, weblinks, encouraging a better understanding of Art practice and History of Art. Our Art School offers Classes 3 days a week. Evening courses and Saturday workshops. Special programs for students. Professional and Student Portfolio development .Special workshops during vacations.
